Welcome to Skinners' Kent Primary School

Skinners’ Kent Primary School is a unique and diverse learning community providing the highest quality education in which all pupils can thrive and achieve their potential.  The School is part of The Skinners’ Kent Academy Trust.  We are proud to be part of this successful Academy Trust.  This exciting partnership enables a wide variety of learning opportunities for all our children and staff.

Skinners’ Kent Primary School is an inclusive school.  Personalised learning ensures we meet the needs of all pupils and enables them to reach their full potential.
We aspire for all pupils at Skinners’ Kent Primary School to feel safe, happy and have a love for learning. Our curriculum is designed to foster curiosity and creativity, to develop motivation and habits that encourage our pupils to be lifelong learners.  The life skills we teach our pupils will give them confidence and self-belief.  We aim for all pupils to leave us ready to make the transition to secondary education and ultimately to play their part in their local community as well as nationally and internationally.
“A tour of the provision showed highly engaged pupils, positive learning behaviours, environment to support learning, opportunities for pupil independence and a calm purposeful atmosphere”
School Educational Visitor

We value building close relationships with our families and within our community.  We welcome visitors, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to visit our school.
“We think it’s the best kept secret of Tunbridge Wells”
Reception Class Parent
“SKPS is a fantastic school and all staff, not just the teaching staff, play a major role in the lives of our children. Our children are so incredibly lucky to be getting a well-rounded first class education with staff that also take in to account that each child is an individual and that they are not robots. We are forever telling people how privileged our children are to be a part of SKPS. Thank you all very, very much for your continuous dedication to our future.”
