Our unit of inquiry will begin by exploring our local community to look at the signs and ways people help keep us safe. We will be learning about the individuals in our homes, school and local community and how they work together to keep us safe.

In maths we will continue to focus on a number each week. We will learn about the number zero and the number bonds to 5. We will continue to focus on a number a week, looking at counting to the numbers forwards and backwards and placing objects on a tens frame to represent the number. We will learn to use positional language to describe how items are positioned in relation to other items.
